VAT in the Digital Age timetable

The European Commission and associated bodies will have been acutely aware of the concerns raised by Member States regarding the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) timetable, which have been regarded by some as cumbersome and unrealistic.

EU Finance Ministers are set to meet in mid-September 2023 with a view to reaching consensus on these concerns. Currently, the most favourable proposition is to delay each of the ViDA pillars by one year.

Kofax will closely follow the outcome of these negotiations.
