Job Scam Warning

Thank you for your interest in Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax).

We’re excited for you to explore opportunities with us, but we also want to ensure you’re aware of potential recruitment scams.

Unfortunately, some individuals falsely claim to represent well-known companies, luring unsuspecting applicants into fake interviews, fabricated applications, and even fraudulent offer letters. Their goal is often to trick victims into disclosing sensitive information or making payments. They typically claim to be recruiting for remote assistants or data entry.

Please keep the following tips in mind as you continue your job search:

  • Be cautious of unsolicited messages from unknown individuals or websites, especially if the domain name doesn’t match the business.
  • Tungsten Automation recruiters may contact you on LinkedIn, but will not reach out from unofficial phone numbers, texts, or email addresses.
  • Our official e-mails will be from @tungstenautomation.com - pay close attention to the spelling and domain name.
  • Be wary if communication lacks clear job details, if recruiters avoid questions, or if a job offer is extended without an interview, especially if you did not apply.
  • Watch for messages with poor grammar, urgent tone, or fear-based tactics aimed at rushing your decisions.
  • Never share sensitive information, such as personal identification numbers or bank details, during the application process. We will never ask for your driver’s license or social security number as part of an interview process.
  • Tungsten Automation will never ask for payments at any stage of hiring or offer to send you a check prior to officially starting work.
  • Be cautious of vague job offers from unfamiliar people that sound "too good to be true."

Protect yourself and approach all opportunities with care.
