Dominican Republic- E-invoicing scope extension
The Dominican Republic has favoured phased implementation as part of its e-invoicing roll out. Tungsten Automation has followed this piecemeal approach over the past year.
In July 2024, the Dominican Tax Authorities (DGII) published a new set of taxpayers who are subject to the e-invoicing regulations.
Medium-sized taxpayers must comply with Law 32/2023, which enshrines e-invoicing obligations in the country, by 15 May 2025. Remaining taxpayers must comply by 15 May 2026.
